The recovery time is variable and depends on the areas treated, but it is generally 3 to 5 days. You will keep a dressing for about 1 week. It is normal to feel some discomfort at first. If necessary, analgesics are effective in relieving pain. Swelling and bruising may be present for 2 weeks. After smoothing the face, flaking and redness are possible for 2 weeks. The return to activities is gradual.
