Cosmetic Surgery was obvious very early on in my career, I had the chance during training in Mexico, at the University of Puebla, to operate with Dr. Quiroz, a renowned cosmetic surgeon with whom I discovered the fabulous possibilities of plastic surgery. My journey then led me to one of the largest aesthetic plastic surgery centers in North America, at the University of Montreal, alongside a team at the forefront of the latest advances in Plastic Surgery. Reconstructive. My choice was made at that moment, I was going to become a plastic surgeon. Back in France, I benefited from surgical training in major university centers that are followers of the eclecticism symbolized by cosmetic surgery with big names in the specialty.

It was alongside Prof. Devauchelle (world’s first facial transplant) that I developed my techniques for facial plastic surgery and rhinoplasty, in a high-tech setting conducive to teaching and perfection. I then perfected my surgical techniques at the University Hospital in Nice, a referral center for various surgical procedures, breast implants and cosmetic medicine. I then joined the Lille University Hospital, renowned for the quality of its breast reconstruction and plastic surgery of the face and body contouring. Surgical technique of VASER liposuction

VASER liposuction (Vibratory Amplification of Sound Energy by Resonance) will allow the removal of fat from several parts of the body thanks to the emission of ultrasound which will react with the liquid injected by the surgeon under the skin to unhook and liquefy the fat cells in the superficial (under the skin) and deep (above the muscles) layers of the body. The aspiration of the fat is then facilitated since the surgeon no longer needs to collect and unhook the fat manually, which makes the liposuction faster, softer, less traumatic with an optimal result.

  • How long do the results last?

    All changes performed by the surgeon are permanent and will last as long as you maintain a healthy lifestyle along with regular physical exercise.

  • What happens during the consultation?

    The consultation is a privileged moment with your surgeon, you can express your desires and expectations in order to formulate a personalized treatment plan.

    Your medical and surgical history and ongoing treatments will be documented and your surgeon will examine you and take many pictures of the areas to be treated.

    If you’d like, you will have access to the before/after photos of patients who underwent the same procedures as those you are planning to do, this will give you an idea of the results you can achieve.

    The complete procedure will be explained in detail so that you have a clear idea of each step of the process.


  • How can I best prepare for the procedure?

    During the consultation, the surgeon will explain what steps to take before the procedure.

    Vitamin and protein supplements will be prescribed as well as all post-operative treatments.

    Smoking of any kind should be stopped at least 6 weeks before the procedure.

    Anti-inflammatory drugs such as aspirin, profenid, nifluril etc... should be stopped after discussing the matter with your treating physician.


  • What is VASER technology?

    VASER stands for Vibration Amplification of Sound Energy at Resonance

    This is the 3rd generation of Ultrasound Assisted Liposuction devices that deliver pulsed energy through a specific probe. The VASER probe used during the procedure will liquefy the fat and allow the surgeon to accurately target specific areas of the body.


    The VASER probe is capable of delivering ultrasound selectively to liquefy fat without causing damage to surrounding tissue. When the fat is liquefied, it is gently suctioned by the surgeon using a thin cannula, leaving tiny holes of about 5mm.


  • Can VASER lipo HD and Brazilian Butt Lift be combined?

    Yes, these two procedures are frequently combined with women, it helps to redefine the silhouette in the stomach, thighs and back areas while plumping the buttocks so that they are firm and rejuvenated.

    When the fat from the areas treated with liposuction is removed, the surgeon purifies it and separates it from the blood and other fluids before re-injecting it to key areas of the buttock aesthetic.

  • How soon will I recover?

    After the liposuction you will be able to get up and walk normally the evening of the intervention or the next day most often. Returning to work is possible as soon as you feel comfortable with the usual movements, in 3 to 10 days depending on the procedures and the volumes of fat removed.


    Physical activities will only be resumed after 3 to 4 weeks.


    Edema and bruising are usually mild and disappear quickly.


    It is important to perform manual lymphatic drainage from the 2nd day and during the 2 to 3 weeks following the intervention, this will greatly improve the results but also the recovery.


    Wearing a compression garment is also essential for a minimum of 4 weeks.


    Small drains will help you eliminate edema and serum quickly and will be removed after 24/48 hours.

  • Are manual lymphatic drainages necessary?

    Yes, absolutely, they help the body eliminate serum and reduce recovery time and the presence of oedemas.
